The Accounting Team Lead serves as a strategic leader within the Finance Department and provides direct support to the Finance Director in managing the agency’s accounting operations. Under the supervision of the Finance Director, this position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting function, supervising accounting staff, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, coordinating month-end and year-end close activities, and maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting.
This position provides leadership and supervision to the Accounting Coordinator and Accounting Specialists and is responsible for quality review, workload management, staff development, process improvement, and cross-training within the accounting function.
The Accounting Team Lead supports organizational compliance with federal, state, grant, donor, and audit requirements while ensuring the integrity of the agency’s financial records and accounting processes.
Parents as Teachers (PAT Educator)

The PAT Parent Educator works under the general supervision of the PAT Coordinator to administer the Parents as Teachers program. Responsibilities include development and delivery of home visits and group sessions, child and family screening and assessment. Compliance with PAT essential requirements and guidelines. The position requires frequent travel throughout York and Adams County and visits in families’ homes in York and Adams County. The PAT Home Educator holds and demonstrates a strong belief in the mission and vision of the PAT program and all CCC programs.
Referral Specialist

The Referral Specialist works under the general supervision of the Community Engagement Manager to perform child care searches using the PELICAN Child Care Works and COMPASS database, and provides parent consultation for community, corporate, and national vendor clients to provide appropriate referrals to all provider types and OCDEL programs to meet the individual needs of the family. The Referral Specialist maintains and distributes resources to the public based upon interests and needs. The Referral Specialist holds and demonstrates a strong belief in the mission and vision of Community Connections for Children, Inc. and all of its programs.
Subsidy Specialist (York or Lemoyne Office)

The Subsidy Specialist works under the direct supervision of the Eligibility Manager (York) or Child Care Works Manager (Lemoyne) to determine client eligibility and redetermination for the Subsidy program. The Subsidy Specialist is a casework position for the agency. The Subsidy Specialist holds and demonstrates a strong belief in the mission and vision of the Child Care Works subsidized child care program and all CCC programs.
